On Friday December 6th, Van Meter Community Development will be hosting a tour of locally owned and operated businesses. This is a self guided tour where you can walk or drive, or a chauffeur will be available if needed.

You will also be able to visit  businesses without a physical location in Van Meter at the future site of the Van Meter Public Library and Public Safety Building!  Each business will have a basket they will be raffling off at the end of the night during our auction at the Veterans Reception Center.

Throughout the evening at the Veterans Reception Center there will be a Community Market and the always popular Ladies Auxiliary Cookie Walk!

Saturday December 7th, we will continue the fun around town with a Community Market, Kids Shopping Day, Ugly Sweater Fun Run, Dog Parade, Christmas Tree Lighting plus much more! We look forward to seeing you there.
